Justis was skipping her mathematics class for the second time that week. She considered the class rather useless, she already knew everything they were studying. So she would often skip and go sit somewhere else till class was over. Today she had decided to escape to the library and read. The book of the day was on the history of Roman Mythology. It was all very interesting, the sex and violence that occurred among the gods, very much like a modern day soap opera, not that Justis watched those shows. Rather pointless and mind numbing. She hummed flipping through the book propped up against her legs that were resting on top of the table. Her white summer shoes were resting on the floor, and the book kept the skirt part of her navy blue sun dress from sliding up too far. She had to leave something to the boys' imagination after all. Hm, Her favorite gods so far were definitely Mars and Venus. Mars, the short tempered war monger and Venus, the jealous, vengeful goddess of love. Both of them were powerful and relentless.
She hummed taking a drink out of her coke bottle, which was actually filled with a mix of Jack and coke. The Jack was to keep her happy during the day and the coke was in case the teachers found it and shook it, if it didn't fizz it wasn't really soda. There was no way in hell Justis would make it through the day here sober. She knew Nicholas hated it that she drank but he never said anything to keep her happy. The boy honestly had no backbone. They were working on that however, she would sometimes harass him getting him riled up, getting him to defend himself. It was hard and annoying sometimes, but he had to defend himself. She sighed and took another drink, wondering how much longer until the librarian kicked her out.
